1975

The creation of St-Amour Ltée

is the brainchild of its founder Leslie StAmour. Visionary and innovative, Mr. StAmour created his company on the principle that recruiters were supported by a proven experience in the sector of activity for which they had evolved during a large part of their career.The expertise for the next few years was mainly in sales and marketing roles as well as in the consumer goods and
pharmaceutical sectors.


1983

Opening of a recruitment office

Now supported by a team of several professional recruiters in Montreal, the St Amour team is expanding in Ontario.

1985

Expansion of recruitment services in the sectors

St-Amour becomes the leading recruitment firm in Quebec and Ontario, offering recruitment support for multiple sectors of activity

1995

Launch of the corporate recruitment division

(business to business/B2B)

1997

St Amour goes digital with the creation of its website

2000

St-Amour et Associés celebrates

25 years 

2002

Addition of the finance and accounting recruitment division

2006

Introduction of digital technology to the recruitment service St- Amour distinguishes itself by its online application management systems.

2012

Added the function Talent Acquisition Specialist

St-Amour maintains its leadership position by developing the function of specialist, talent acquisition, thus supporting the
evolving needs of our clients, companies and candidates

2018

The company continues to evolve and align itself to the new realities of its clients by offering a set of innovative solutions adapted to recruitment. The team thus launches its new identity : The Magellan Group.

 

The Group has 4 distinct divisions 

St-Amour, Hubble, Strato Exec (executive division ) and Flairtech . 4 new reference sites, including 1 transactional site offering access to psychometric measurement tools . Complementary services such as CV writing support are added to the Group's expertise 

2020

45 years of expertise at the service of our customers

Groupe Magellan is proud of its 45 years of serving its clients (companies and candidates). The diversification of services allows the Group to position itself as a Canadian leader in recruitment solutions and continually evolves with the needs of the market.

2021

The Magellan Group launches its new recruitment solution Exo Talent, offering an à la carte support  for talent acquisition/sourcing.
